Despite growing up in the same area and both attending The University of Tennessee, Rachael & Bryce did not meet until they matched on Hinge, the dating app in August 2024. We immediately hit it off through texting and phone calls, but due to our busy schedules, we would not be able to go on our first date for over a week. We continued to text and talk on the phone to get to know each other while planning our first date. Both of our families were planning to go on beach vacations in September, so we wanted to meet each other before we left town! We planned a lunch date for August 26, but Rachael woke up that morning to a text from Bryce saying he had tested positive for Covid (with pictures for proof 😂), so we had to postpone. Over two weeks later, we finally went on our first date, and everyone would say we have been inseparable ever since! We have had lots of fun adventures and have traveled together to Nashville, Key West, Memphis, Chicago, Denver, Playa Del Carmen, Pensacola, Cape San Blas, and several fun places in between! Our birthdays are three years and one day apart, so we planned a trip to Mexico in July 2025 to celebrate together! Little did Rachael know, Bryce already had the ring and the proposal planned, and it was absolutely perfect to get engaged in paradise! We can’t imagine life without each other, and we are so excited for our future and to celebrate with everyone we love!
